  • Overview

    Stolt-Nielsen is looking for a driven and hard-working Communications Executive with a willingness to learn, a flair for writing, a good grasp of social media and the ability and confidence to hit the ground running. Excellent project management skills and attention to detail are also a must. This role will report to the Head of Communications, London to support the roll out of a number of new initiatives. They will also work closely with the HR team to build and execute communications strategies and plans around key employee engagement initiatives. It will be a temporary assignment for approx.6 months, starting early January 2019.

    Responsibilities

    1. Responsible for the coordination of a series of internal events, working with local support staff across the globe
    2. Support the Head of Communications with the project management of a number of communications tools including video and brochureware to facilitate the internal roll out of the Group’s vision, identity and values
    3. Support internal communications with the production of content for the intranet including news stories, new joiner announcements and employer brand building content. Encouraging and gathering contributions from around the business and publishing these items internally.
    4. Coordinate the social media presence for SNL, supporting the divisions and HR where necessary. Producing regular reports to measure ROI.
    5. Assist in managing and maintaining the SNL visual identity guidelines and advising the businesses on their correct usage.
    6. Assess the effectiveness of communication campaigns - making changes and improvements where necessary

    Qualifications

    2+ years of handling people, culture and corporate communications, and a proven track record of taking ideas and turning them into engaging content.

    • Experience of implementing dynamic communications across multiple platforms, with good understanding of internal communications.
    • Event management – international experience an advantage.
    • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
    • Experience of social media platforms, specifically LinkedIn to enhance brand profile.
    • Experience of adobe creative applications (e.g. InDesign, Photoshop).

    Passionate about delivering communications of the highest quality.

    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to write and edit engaging copy
    • A ‘can-do’ approach to work, proactive and calm under pressure.
    • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels and across boundaries (geographical and functional) to maximise the impact of local communications.
