For our Business Technologies team we are recruiting an Infrastructure Support Specialist to join the team.
The goal for Business Technologies is to support the SNL Divisions in their strategic goals by delivering stable & scalable systems based on best practice processes which improve operational efficiency & data quality thus providing decision makers with accurate real time information, facilitating optimal asset utilization at highest revenues, while operating as a fully integrated part of the SNL team & making a positive contribution to the company’s success.
The Infrastructure Support Specialist - Networks is primarily responsible for providing global WAN/LAN/WIFI connectivity, associated services and technologies and security services throughout the global ICT landscape. Maintain stable operation of the network, including planning, developing, installing, configuring, upgrading, maintaining, supporting and optimizing all existing networks and security services, monitor network for stability and proper configuration, prompt resolution of network related incidents and effective problem management. Maintain the security of the network infrastructure and recommend network improvements. This includes operational vendor management of outsourced service providers and technology vendors. This person is also responsible for providing Level 2/3 hands-on network support to the regional Infrastructure support teams and act as subject matter expert and technical team lead to all level 2 Engineers in the respective regions. Specific networks centric project (i.e. office relocation, life-cycle replacement project etc.) are part of the responsibility.
